The Oscar Awards 2015 took place at Dolby Theatre on February 22 during which the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) honored the best work in film industry during the past one year. The proceedings began at 5:30 p.m. PST (8:30 p.m. EST/01:30 UTC) with some of the biggest stars of Hollywood making their appearance on the red carpet.

The 87th Academy Awards began with a performance by the event’s host Neil Patrick Harris who performed “Moving Pictures” during the opening segment which was followed by some amazing performances by various musicians like Lady Gaga, John Legend, Rita Ora and Maroon 5 time to time during the whole ceremony.
