Sean Justin Penn is an American actor, director, and politician born on 17th August 1960. His acting career began with a minor role in some episodes of the television series Little House on the Prairie in 1974. Sean launched his film career with the action-drama Taps released in 1981. Later on, during the 1980s he performed a variety of roles in different films such as Bad Boys, The Falcon and the Snowman, and At Close Range. In 1995, Penn received a breakthrough from the film Dead Man Walking for which he was also nominated for Academy Awards. Upcoming years brought some successful films for him, the films included Sweet and Lowdown, I am Sam, Milk, Mystic River, and Hurlyburly. All these movies became successful at the box office and provided him with fame and success.
