He was the only child of Gladys Love Presley and Vernon Elvis Presley. For his outstanding work, he has been inducted into multiple music hall of fame and has also received several awards including 3 Grammys. Elvis Presley used to take prescription drugs and his addiction to them kept growing over time which ultimately resulted in his death. The iconic singer died of a heart failure on August 16, 1997, and he was buried on the Graceland property, near the gravesites of his parents.
